Sexual desire, arousal, and differences in desire happen, especially through changes in our life experiences. Dealing with these issues can cause shame, embarrassment, and anxiety.
The messages we’ve received through the years contribute to our self-talk, especially when it comes to our sexual selves. We begin to believe that something is wrong with us or that our desire is directly connected with our ability to love our partner and many other myths that negatively affect our sexual self-esteem.

And by being conscious of these characteristics of desire differences, you can change your internal script and rewrite the belief about your sexual self in relationships.
